I’m Maher, a game enthusiast that is passionate about making and playing games by exploring the technologies that help build those experiences. I started my journey as a game designer but have since broadened my scope by expanding to 3D and development, encompassing the entire pipeline.

My family introduced me to game consoles like the N64 and SNES when I was only 4 years old. Since then, games held a deep and engaging place in my heart and I was excited by all aspects of what they were. I adored the art, hummed along to the music and found endless fun in the gameplay.

However, things changed with the launch of Halo 3 in 2007. I frequently used the in-game theatre to share gameplay with my friends but then I began to notice details. I observed materials in the environment, the thrill of big flashy explosions, smooth player animations and unique maps that enabled memorable moments. For the first time, I saw how design brought all components of a game together!

Since then, I have followed the development of the games industry, from big AAA productions to web-based Flash games as I would play, analyze and most importantly learn about their creative process. Now I am eager to build on those foundations by applying what I know about design and development to create engaging experiences.
